About

We have had all sorts of reptiles over the years including Russian, Hermann and Greek tortoises; all kinds of frogs inluding poison arrow dart, tree, and leopard; skinks and several snakes. As a boy, I was interested in all sorts of local reptiles including horny toads, tortoises, and my favorite - blue bellies. I learned to love and respect these fragile friends and have great memories of our adventures in herping. We have been formally breeding reptiles since 1999 and have put most of our breeding efforts into leopard geckos because of their incredible genetic diversity. Many science projects for our sons came out of these leopard gecko projects.

Our leopard gecko projects include Tremper, Rainwater, Bell albinos. We have projects that have many different traits including blizzard, leucistic, Mack Snow, hypo tangerines, RAPTORs, red stripes, hybinos and much more. Please check our Projects page for more information on our current breeding ventures.

We started our African Fat Tail projects in 2002. We currently produce normals het for amelanistic, stripes, amelanistic, and amelanistic stripes. We are very excited about some animals that have hatched with some jungle characteristics. We hope that in 2008 we will have jungle fat tails for sale in some quantity early 2008.

2002 was a fun year as we also started our first New Caledonian gecko project, Crested Geckos. We began with dalmation, fire, tiger and patternless groups. We have built our collection since and now have some great groups with stripes and harlequins, with some really great colors. We are in the process of building our Crested groups this year and expect some truly incredible babies!

In 2003 we began our second New Caledonian gecko project with Gargoyle Geckos. These have turned into one of my favorite projects. I like their personalities very much and the great patterns and colors that are being produced.

Finally in 2006 we added our most recent project breeding nephrurus levis levis, also known as knob tailed geckos. These Australian geckos are very unique and have awesome personalities. We will share pictures of our first babies as soon as we can!

We truly enjoy sharing our love of these beautiful animals. My sons and I have done many school presentations to grade school classes. We have also donated eggs to teachers/schools that are interested in seeing leopard geckos hatch out in a classroom setting. We find it very rewarding to pass on our passion for reptiles.
