Ordering
Choosing your gecko:
Once you have chosen the gecko(s) that you are interested in, please contact us via the contact page to the right to verify that the animal is available. We prefer taking orders in this fashion to ensure the customer is receiving exactly what want and that they get the proper care information. We want you to have a good experience adding our geckos to your collection! We can give you an exact price quote, including overnight shipping fees, when you contact us. We only ship geckos overnight! We will not ship live geckos for 2nd or 3rd day delivery! Overnight shipping costs may also be estimated using UPS.com. If your request needs to be expedited, please contact us via phone at (619) 933-9117.
Individual Photos:
We try to have individual photographs of all the animals we have for sale whenever possible. We do provide individual photos of our higher quality sub-adult and adult animals with general information including length/weight, sex, and price. If you are looking for younger animals or large groups, we can send generic photos showing examples of each type of animal you are interested in. You can expect your new addition to look similar to those in the photos.
Payment:
Once you know that the gecko(s) you want are available, the next step is payment. We have two basic methods of payment: PayPal or money order. PayPal is the preferred method. You can make a PayPal payment by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page. Please send your NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE, EMAIL, and YOUR ORDER with the payment! A money order for the total amount, including shipping fees, can be sent to our mailing address. Email us your NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE, and ORDER and we will give your our mailing address for payment. We will contact you within 24 hours after receiving payment so we can set up a shipping date.
Shipping:
All of our animals are shipped overnight, live delivery guaranteed. The cost is usually $35- $60 per box. There are usually no additional costs if you purchase a group of animals as we can fit a good number of animals in each box. For small orders we individually package each animal in a deli style container with air-holes. Larger orders may require us to put the animals in groups to save space. We ship in the late afternoon or early evening and the package usually arrives the following morning before noon. Someone must be present at the address to sign for the package. Shipments can be sent to your place of employment if you prefer. We usually ship on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The heavy feeding schedule of our animals prevents us from shipping on Mondays. If there are any losses we need to be notified within 24 hours and a photo of the deceased animal sent to us via email. We do not issue cash refunds for losses. However, we will replace the animal at no charge.
Receiving Your New Gecko(s) and Acclimation:
We guarantee that our geckos will arrive 100% healthy. Due to weather conditions, they may be chilled and act sluggish for a while. They will become alert and active as they begin to adjust. Please have patience when feeding any new gecko. Some animals may go several days or more before they begin feeding. It is important to keep handling to a minimum for the first week or two. Handling is stressful for a gecko and the first thing a stressed gecko will do is to stop feeding. As long as you have a proper habitat set-up (see Care Sheets for each species specifications), there should be no problems with feeding when the animal becomes adjusted. If you have any problems or the animal is showing signs of illness, please contact us for advice. It is very important to us that you have a good experience with our geckos. We breed reptiles because it is our passion and obsession. We care about the well-being of each animal and want them to live long and healthy lives.

Geckotopia.com strives to provide the best possible quality and selection at a competitive price. We make ourselves available at a number of reptile shows to meet other gecko enthusiasts, show our animals, and to allow purchases or questions in person.
Are you unsure about ordering a gecko from us? There are a lot of scam artists taking people's money or sending poor quality animals. We have learned this the hard way a couple of time ourselves. It can be difficult to figure out who's who when you can't meet the vendors in person. A good place to check a breeder or dealer's reputation is Gecko Forums.net.
